In the project dentro various iconographies converge to comment on transcendental and mundane issues. There is a reference to the religious figure of Virgin Mary - as an universal image of a mother. In dentro, Ana Rebordão is creating monumental images like altarpieces – an alternative to the sufferings of Christ. The props - all common household objects – drive the performances to absurd situations that can sustain an indefinable tension, and which in turn can amuse, upset and baffle the viewers.
